Hills LAC requires ALL registered athletes to wear correct uniform to all events held by the Centre and when competing at Inter-club or Association events.
Note: Correct uniform is essential at LASA run events where disqualification may occur if incorrect uniform is worn.
Uniforms are able to be purchased by completing the Uniform Order Form making payment via EFT and emailing a copy of the completed form to: info@hlac.org.au. The uniforms will be available to be collected at a home meet as soon as possible, after confirmation of payment. You will be advised of any issue with payment and/or stock availability.
Alternatively, uniforms are available to be purchased at home meets for the first four weeks 8.30-9.00am. After this time purchase will by appointment.
All athletes registered with Hills LAC must wear:
Top (options)
Hills Club Polo Top (all athletes)
Hills Club Singlet (U12-U17 age groups optional)
Plain Polo Top (Hills Green - Tiny Tots only)
Long sleeve t-shirts can be worn under the club top (club green, black or white).
Bottom (no logo bigger than 3x3cm)
Black Shorts
Leggings (any length)
Black Bike Shorts or leggings as undergarments are now permitted.
Sun Protection
Bucket Hat
Other Items
Club Hoodie (optional)
Shoes (running style that encloses the foot and is fastened with laces or Velcro).
Spikes
U11-U17 athletes may wear spikes for all laned running events (100m-400m), hurdles, high jump, long jump, triple jump and javelin. Also, in sections of a relay held wholly within a lane (i.e. all runners in a 4x100m; the first and second runners in a 4x200m and Medley).
U13-U17 athletes may wear spiked for 800m and 1500m events and all legs of a relay.
No athlete in Under 10's or below is allowed to wear spikes.
Spikes must be no longer than 7mm. For specialist high jump/javelin footwear with heel spikes the maximum length is 9mm.
Remember:
#1 Wedge spikes are not permitted at SA Athletic Stadium.
#2 The wearing of Skins or similar compression clothing with contract stitching are not allowed.
#3 Bare Feet are not permitted.
