Hills LAC uses the ResultsHQ recording system from Timing Solutions to tracking and reporting athlete’s results for the summer season. This solution has a mobile app, CompetitionHQ, that is the preferred method by Hills LAC for age groups to enter results into ResultsHQ for our home meets.
However, particularly in the first few weeks of the season, manual recording sheets are needed to capture the name and results of non registered athletes, i.e. those athletes doing a free Come N Try session. The sheets will be in the Age Group folder and need to be returned at the end of the meet.
The manual recording sheets require the Age Group Recorder to:
- Enter the Age Group Recorders name at the top of the page
- Enter the Athlete names in the Name column
- Enter results in the column for the respective event
- High Jump results entered on a second recording sheet specific for high jump

Further notes on marking the recording sheets:
For throws events, each throw may be marked with only the best throw measured and recorded (as displayed in the column for shot put in the Recording Form example).
Where an athlete starts but does not finish a Track event, please mark on the recording sheet “DNF” (Did Not Finish).
Where an athlete competes in a Field event but does not register a height or distance – please mark on the recording sheet “NM” (No Mark), so that it the system has registered that they competed in the event. Note: It is recommended where an athlete does not record a mark in a field event that the athlete is given another chance to register a result.
If an athlete does not compete in an event, please leave the result blank.
